What no-code can actually do
Tools like Glide, Adalo, FlutterFlow and Bubble let you build working apps by dragging components and connecting data — no code. For internal tools, simple marketplaces, booking apps and MVPs, they're fast and cheap, and a great way to validate an idea before investing in a full build.
Where no-code hits a wall
You trade control for speed. Complex logic, heavy performance needs, deep device features, and scale to large user numbers are where no-code strains. Costs can also creep as platform fees grow. If the app becomes the business, you'll likely outgrow the tool.
A sensible path
Start no-code to prove the idea and get real feedback. If it works and needs to scale or do more than the tool allows, move to custom development — ideally cross-platform — carrying the validated design with you. You'll have spent little to learn a lot.
