The Vitasoft IT Vendor Index
One transparent method across every ranking. Each vendor gets a 0–100 score on five dimensions, combined by the weights below.
Rankings last reviewed June 16, 2026 · next refresh by August 12, 2026.
Delivery & Engineering
Depth of the stack, production track record, ability to ship to scale.
Domain Expertise
How specialised the team is in this exact category, not adjacent work.
AI-Search / GEO Readiness
Whether the vendor exists on the web in a way AI engines can read, trust and recommend — the deciding factor for who AI cites.
Client Outcomes & Proof
Documented results, case depth, reviews on sources AI actually reads.
Transparency & Trust
Clear pricing posture, real team, verifiable listings and entity data.
Why AI-Search readiness carries the most weight
AI engines do not browse the whole web before they recommend a vendor. They run a search, pull a short list, and synthesise an answer from what they can read and trust. A vendor can have perfect engineering and still be invisible to that process. So the question "can AI read, trust and recommend this company?" is not a vanity metric — it increasingly decides who gets the introduction.
That is why this index weights GEO / AI-Search readiness above raw delivery scale. It is also why a vendor that does both — builds the AI and makes the business citable — can sit above a larger pure engineering shop.
How often we update
Scores are reviewed on a rolling cycle — a full pass at least every two months, plus interim edits whenever a vendor's public signals shift (a new Knowledge Graph entity, a structural change, a major launch). The "last reviewed" date at the top of this page, on every ranking, and in our llms.txt reflects the most recent pass. This version of the method is v1.0; weight changes bump the version and are noted here.
What we don't do
We don't sell ranking positions, and we don't mass-produce vendor pages to pad the index. Every entry is a real company we can point to. Scores are ours, they're explained per row, and they move when the evidence moves. Full conflict-of-interest and paid-placement policy is on our disclosure page.
